Curious, was it red the other night?I'm struck by the total absence of discussion of this Cup defense opening game as a game.
So here's the Empire State Building
It was lit Blue either the night we won or shortly thereafter, but then it was unclear whether that was a coincidence and it had been scheduled blue for something else.
But this is official for sure.

The something else was in the context of December when we won. I've no memory of what big news there was then, but in any event, I think the idea was the blue then had been prescheduled for something in advance like national blueberry day or whatever.I take it the "something else" you refer to is the other big news of the week.

Either way, I love seeing that. Thank you empire state building!
I really wish there would be more NYCFC signage and advertising across the city just as a rule in general. When I was working in Manhattan I would see knicks, nets, rangers, etc. ads on electric billboards and signage all the time, but rarely if ever saw NYCFC stuff. This would be the perfect time for it

I've seen a lot of it when I was going back and forth from Penn to Bryant Park, and I've also seen it often in the subways.I don't see that many ads for any of the sports teams when I walk around. Maybe I'm not paying attention.
I have seen some NYCFC but it was mostly around the MLS cup final time last year.
This means nothing to me. I guess I forgot.
Check the gif of the game from the u pick thread! This means nothing to me. I guess I forgot.
ETA: All I remember about that day is the stands were filled with losers wearing Liverpool and Chelsea jerseys, who just wanted to see Gerrard and jerkhead and didn't care about the game.
