But other than the Lampard Screw Job (where the organization deserved every ounce of scorn that was heaped on) I don't see anything legit as being a point and laugh situation. The stadium, Kreis, jerseys, etc is all fucktard fodder imho.

Pirlo signing?
He was not the best fit for the lineup we had by a mile. But he became one of the best selling MLS jerseys and added a couple thousand fans in the stands, so it was a good business decision.
I think we all openly discussed the need to build a fan base for the club and these 4 signing greatly helped with that. Pirlo lamp are villa and mix. You attract 4 different football cultures with that. Premier league, Serie A, Spanish league and then USMNT audience.
From that perspective CFG did it right because we have a huge supporter base right now.

Coming off a Champions League Final start, he was no laughing matter, other than people who only look at age. He was arguably our most important player the last third of the season.
