Yes! And I share a lot of the frustrations that are going around (except for Dome; I like him). I think I wrote explicitly a few months back about my disappointment with the club’s apparent lack of highest-reaching ambition. But this is still fun for me. The way some people talk around here, it sounds like no fun at all.Do you think it's valid as a fan to try and push the club to improve?
Everything is pointing to 2020, but in a temporary (like really temporary) venue.
Actually Lol'd at this partHEY CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE FOUNDING MEMBER BRICKS TOO
Thanks for the continued research on this.Instagram accounts sighted. The "United" one is following USL1 team Lansing Ignite.

Interesting that both Katz and Moya have soccer related backgrounds in their twitter accounts.

This should be under the Swag or Kit thread.I don't know - that's just Queens for you. (Also, that dude has like an entire closet worth of Barça crap that he wears EVERYWHERE)
If it is true, I'm all for it!
True or not, we’ll see, but it reads like fan fiction
If that is true, and the Mets/Wilpons/Rakuten are investors, there’s no way the club doesn’t push for MLS entry at some point. They’re probably ok being top dog in USL for a bit, but they’re gonna eventually want top-tier status with associated TV deal.... unless USL has the goal of also pushing for D1 status once they have their multiple tiers set up.
The first may be fan fiction, but the 2nd/3rd are very probable if the team is created. Even if not associated as investor, the Mets have little to lose from adding 15-20 matches (no idea how long USL season is) and the rent that comes from it. And if Villa is the primary investor, then any xtra cash is always helpful and he’s being compensated pretty well.True or not, we’ll see, but it reads like fan fiction
