Once again, we are in a regional group that has 3 MLS teams and one USL team. It will be this way every year since the US Open Cup doesn't seem to want to balance that out.

outside chance we might actually win our first US Open Cup match.....?
y'all ready to lose to a USL team? EDIT: where we hosting?
still up in the air, we lost to cosmos twice same level ( on paper) as North Carolina
Right. I'm pinning my hopes on that being down to us still being a young team, not yet fully formed........still up in the air, we lost to cosmos twice same level ( on paper) as North Carolina
Our best chance to win a USOC match since we were founded. Let’s not screw this up!
Our roster was not even close to as deep with green card holders the years we lost to the cosmos.
id say since the cosmos games, both were winnable ( we were winning the first had control then kresi fucked it up)
See my response to your pessimism above. USL may be a bit better these days. But our roster is night and day compared to years 1 & 2.
We can put 5 non-domestic players in the 18 for a US Open Cup game. We have exactly that many on the entire team. So, the whole roster is available to us for these games (other than guys hurt or off on international duty).Potentially we will be missing Johnson, Matarrita, and Parks for international duty. I didn't look up all the specific dates but I think they are all gone barring super fast tournament exits. Also Ofori but no green card so not relevant here.
That first Kosmos match was won until Kreis’ birthday present substitution.id say since the cosmos games, both were winnable ( we were winning the first had control then kresi fucked it up)
