Yaya Toure wants out at Man City apparently as the club did not mark his birthday with a cake as they did with other players.

Seriously?

You need to

A. Keep your ear to the ground
B. Pay attention as to what has gone on before
C. Look closely as to what has not been said as much as what hasn't, and
D. Give your head a wobble

Yaya isn't going anywhere. His "agent", as has been reported in the media, isn't. He's merely an advisor. He has been spouting bollocks for years (Heaven knows why Toure puts up with him).

There was a celebration, there was a cake, and there was a 35' image of him hanging outside the Etihad when Seluk stated that there were no pictures of him.

Isn't this just a ridiculous attempt at negotiating for a wage increase?

He's said he wants to retire at Barca. Maybe he's angling his way back there, maybe not.

When you're angling for an improved contract, it's common to name-drop a big club who might be interested in signing you. It makes your club get scared that you might actually leave them, thus prompting them to rush to offer you a higher deal than they might otherwise have considered - or that's what is supposed to happen, anyway.

He's making $18 Million a year. If MCFC wanted, they could eat his salary and make him play left bench to teach him a lesson. Not worried about this at all.
