It’s seeming more and more clear that Gio isn’t fit for 90 minutes. It’s frustrating, but best to leave him on the bench for this one and have him ready to unlock Iran in the next one.
Man, the closer we get to this game, the more I don't know how to react.... I'm very nervous, this is THE game of the world cup so far, for me.
I really hope every American in the stadium- fans coaches and players- were singing My Country ‘Tis Of Thee during the England anthem.

Nothing better than when your midfield is better than the other guys.
Grealish caused a lot of trouble in 25 minutes and scared me every time he touched the ball.
Turner was strong, especially on high balls.
Our set piece game needs a Vartughian.
Gio didn’t do much but when he came on and they showed his dad I welled up a little.

I think the plan was to get that free kick into a dangerous position and then they just fucked it up / England defended it well
Feels like the USA does a lot of things well, then the final touch lets them down. Fine result today, but you kind of wonder what could have been. Probably should have won this game and scored 1 or 2 goals. Feels like four points dropped in this group considering the quality of performances.
