Shame the winter was just so absolutely savage and unrelenting.

Would have been great to have the field looking like this for tomorrow:

You'd think we'd play home games every week until then...but instead, we're going to Colorado next week.

Here's my question, are they going to leave the grass and just add the baseball dirt over-top of it before each Yankee game and then remove it after?

That would make for a nicer field than doing it like this:

I think they will do whatever is best for the Yankees. Our field is always kept in great shape and we have 81 games to play there .

They remove the grass. The dirt infield is below it.

They're going to paint the shit out of that grass so it looks green as hell tomorrow.

The field is not going to look good tomorrow, they've only had a few days to get it ready. It will look better on the 28th as long as we don't get any more snow lol

Today is the first day that i don't have snow on my block!

March is always touch and go for weather in NYC, April can be unpredictable too.. It will all get sorted out and the Yankees and NYCFC will learn to coexist within the stadium and on the field .
I'm sure they will do whatever they can to make both teams happy ...
