Your Honest Thought's On Mcfc And Cfg ?

This thread is worthless without me hitting the show ignored button. Since I've sworn off doing that for at least a week, would someone please get the usual shitheads on both sides out of here before then?

It helps if you point out how they consistently post the same shit over and over, have no capacity for logical thought and a view that can most generously be described as myopic and condescending to anyone except the fellow morons on their side.

Bottom line in how I view the CFG experiment: I'm going to love the connections when they work to our benefit. If they don't, I have an easy thing to shout about. And folks can fuck off if they don't understand that that is what we all do in some capacity.

I haven't gone through the thread myself but this is the bottom line IMO. CFG is going to give us access to talent we otherwise wouldn't get. As a result, it may be harder to achieve that long term roster/manager that everyone that looks for some reason. The reality of the situation is soccer has a lot of turnover, especially in the MLS and the talent we get from them is a notch above the MLS level so I'm happy they're our owners.

For those of you aware of the complexity of the MLS, yet demand instant success or believed the Kreis firing was wrong are truly mind boggling. This is different than what CFG were allowed to do in England and Australia. God forbid they need a year or two to get used to the stupidity of the MLS rules. God forbid they realize they had a manager who made the most dumb fuck starting lineups I've seen. If Kreis was the 1 doing the chalk talks, I would've happily redeemed my points to look at him in his eyes and ask why people like Ballouchy and Grabavoy play over Poku.

Wait, Kreis wasn't doing the chalk talks? I thought the pic used to "sell" the event experience showed Kreis talking to an audience - I alwasy assumed it was the manager giving fans the inside info on game decisions..... bait & switch

I can assure you CFG are a better ownership option than Dolan. Any day of the week. Hands down. I don't mean any disrespect but your statement was ludicrous. To think Dolan is a better option than a group that turned a floundering club into 2 time league winners in less than 10 years is absolutely ridiculous.

My point wasn't wanting Jim Dolan owning our club, I said he's the worst owner in sports. My point was that I don't trust our ownership group to do things that are always in the best interest of our success when they are also determined (and I believe more concerned with) advancing the global brand of CFG and the success of Manchester City. I'll take rooting for the New York Knicks owned by Dolan over the Westchester Knicks owned by CFG. And as I originally stated I respect that others don't agree, and I would hope I'm wrong and they do everything they can for us. But, to date I haven't seen enough evidence of that.

The success of CFG as a whole depends on the success of the individual clubs that make up CFG. I trust ownership to make the best decisions for NYCFC. I understand many people are skeptical but in a few years I truly think most NYCFC fans will come to realize what good ownership we have. Sure there will be hiccups along the way but for the most part they are good at what they do

Like the did with Lampard? Or Pirlo?

You don't have to forget but you also don't have to be an obsessed whiny bitch either.
Does that make you obsessed with me?

Or would you say you're obsessed with defending your poor, little defenseless multi-billion dollar multinational organisation that's been screwing us over?

There would be no team without CFG. No one else was paying what they did to buy into MLS. They paid, its their money, they can do what they want.

What would you think if you bought lets say a new house and your neighbors stopped by everyday to bitch at you for not renovating the way they think you should. You would tell them to bugger off its your house and you paid for it.

Same thing here. The members on this page and TR make up a minor amount of the money coming in. They don't need to care.

?????
Man City fan I take it, given your super reasonable and measured response here and lack of post elsewhere.

Do you know what sound it makes when a water tanker crashes into a vinegar truck?

The worst part of CFG is the flood of trolls that come here with no interest in our team after every major announcement. At least our own trolls call themselves NYCFC fans.

How do you know I've not supported NYCFC for a year since it was formed? how can you identify who's a troll to those who wants to support NYCFC?

If you've only supported NYCFC for the season then each and every fan who comes on here have the same right to post what they want because no fan is bigger than the other one regardless ?

Using poor & multi-billion dollar in the same sentence kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it. Whiny bitch
