Not a bad shout, though. I would imagine he could get to a higher level club-wise if he made the switch.
I hate to say it, but I kind of agree with this. I love the guy, but we are full up with wingers.
Maybe he is coming to train and keep in shape?

Our 352 may be better w/o jack and having Mata or Tin as the other WB opposite Isi (who we CANNOT take out of the lineup).
So really jack becomes Berget/Medina/Jack depth at the wing. Not sure that’s needed, as I don’t want to take minutes away from Berget & Medina as they grow into this team. Also, despite all the GAM, TAM, YAM, etc, this is still a capped league. Spend the resources on a LB. Seriously! A LEFT BACK. Not clog up a position where we have so much depth Jlew still hasn’t seen the pitch this season.
I don't know if she's still here, but Mumsy was still in NY a few months at least after he left. I saw her at some of our early home games. She and Jack might be maintaining a residence, or maybe they just had a lease that hasn't run out and they're making the best of it. Or maybe she's working on a green card and can't leave and Jack has to visit her here. Or maybe none of this is the case but there are a 1,000 reasons why he could be here.
No surprise here but Villa did not make the World Cup squad. Interesting is that they are thin at Striker. Morata didn't even make the squad.

Why would we ever entertain the idea of bringing Big Apple Jack back as a left back? We're at the point where we can bring in a solid, natural LB.
I realize LB is traditionally a hard position to fill, especially in today's general brand of club and international football, but we can do better than a converted winger of Jack's pedigree, as a makeshift LB. I love the guy, but that's the God's honest truth.

I believe the suggestion was meant to be to get a LB instead of Jack, not bring him in as a left back.
We start Sweat more often than not, so I can’t exactly just accept your unqualified premise.
Of course - Sweat is intolerable. However, I'm not seeing a converted Jack Harrison as anything more than a 5-day old band-aid.
The position needs fixing, my premise simply outlined Jack as not the solution.
If Herrera is out for a long time, Nir Bitton wants to leave Celtic. He's extremely talented but I think the'll let him leave on a free due to the abuse he's gotten from the Celtic fans due to other reasons that are probably best left untouched.
Nir also wouldn't be able to play until deep into the summer due to injury but I think it would be worth the wait.
I’ll start bringing my Israeli flag to matches again and sing hatikva to the guy as he warms up. He deserves it after all that shit he puts up with over there.
