2018 Roster Discussion

That's hysterical , that you hate Canada. I mean I don't care but it's such an innocuous, goofy country Like the pleasant goody two shoes guy who's always stuck in the friend zone. I could see not taking it seriously, maybe disdaining it, but calling it an asshole is just too funny

To be fair, it has a lovely landscape. It’s more that I strongly disfavor Canadians.

And probably because it’s fairly innocuous to throw shade at Canada. Because they are just generally mild, middling people who don’t offer much beyond bland, white-bread actors/musicians.

Quite an interesting move. Maybe it's for roster compliance due to salary or senior roster members as he's an American and doesn't take up any international spots.

Looking at the RB depth chart it goes from Tinnerholm to Scally and that's a concern should anything happen to Anton.

Maybe they're about to sign someone on a free and had to open the spot? The other option is that he needs some action. Guy's barely seen the field all year. Tinnerholm's emergence made him expendable.

Sweat played in the right in a sub appearance, could be our back up plan.

Loan Jonathan Lewis to where?
I doubt a USL team would go for a move that involved JLew. SAS was barely making the 18, and when he was, he wasn't playing. I'm imagining JLew will continue to make the 18 (maybe not all the time, like in Toronto) and still get appearances off the bench. No USL team would go for a similar move with someone who is most likely to be recalled several times.

Don’t get how defense and tactical awareness are still used to rule Lewis out of starting and even the 18 yet we allow 2 goals while up a man and even get dominated for a chunk of it.
So is everyone else bad at those two then and he’s just atrocious? I would give up Medina as a young DP for Lewis and sign a solid LB and have a ton of $$ left over. You’d then have a DP spot left over and wouldn’t lose production. And you’d have a competent LB.

dome is not giving up on medina, he really likes him hes mentioned it many times. i still would keep lewis as super sub over tmac for sure in the 18. maybe Dome used seattle and vancouver games as samples where not much spark happened ( though the whole team played bad both times)
