I think he might be right that it's grey, the lettering at the bottom is clearly white and there is a bigger difference in color between the lettering and the base kit material.

When a team switches sponsors, how do they handle the jersey that wasn't scheduled for a refresh that year? Do they just manufacture the same design but with the new sponsor?
