Can’t believe the goalies don’t get long sleeve. And still can’t believe they don’t sell the orange goalie jerseys. A big orange Johnson would be awesome!
Love Love Love this jersey. My favorite yet for the Club - my son's favorite after the Hypnokit.
It is very distinctive compared to the other MLS kits released this year. Classic design. Great lines and use of color. We are going to stand out, and in a good way.
For those comparing to the Melbourne and Man City kits from a few years ago, note how much thinner our vertical stripe is and the fact that there are 3 lines instead of 2. Those make a big difference, and in a good way.
I agree with those that don't like the shorts, though. They don't appear to me to be a continuation of what's going on up top. I don't think you can keep the vertical stripe going on the pants, but maybe the number or adidas logo could incorporate some of its color scheme. Also, the side stripes are a real break between the two.
But, that's nitpicking. It's a great look. As a member of #team50, I don't own a jersey, but I am ready to go full kit wanker this season.

Oh, and these things do matter. Remember when the crest was adopted by the Club and how central it became to our identity. The crest was dope - is dope. It's really well designed and looks very New York. It helped draw me to the Club, and I am sure that is true for others.

Well, that's hard to say as I'm at work and going from memory but it feels slightly roomier. But let me check tonight when I get home. I'm 5' 10" and 170 and that's the large authentic over a t-shirt in the photo. It's not snug like I was afraid it would be and in fact it's actually a tiny bit roomy (and a little long as well). Will do a comparison tonight.
I believe last year was also longer than previous.
Yeah I figured from the curved hem that it might be more like the 2018 away kit in length and fit. I'm a fan. It's much easier to wear with regular clothing when you can't see the pores of my skin through a skin-tight jersey!

Pretty sure this is the same exact template as the grey ones we got last year. So they should fit the same.

Is the new kit even on fanatics yet? Didn’t see it on a quick search with my phone
OK, just compared the 2019 jersey with last year's and they're almost identical size-wise. Almost the only difference is the fabric—on the old ones it's that super light pinhole stuff whereas the new ones are more like a regular fabric. So they're different because of the fabric but the cut seems identical.
