yikes. while it would be sad i am also ok with it. the team has to move on at some point. i'm more upset the club didn't try harder to get santi permanently.
they also better get callens to stay!

the team has kept a good core of players down the spine for years now. it's getting to the point where we need to start replacing that spine so it's only natural. i thought santi was that future maxi replacement and he was looking like he was going to be...

gonna be interesting what happens in the next 2 months.

no confirmation yet. just speculation on my part. his loan ends this month and there has been no news yet. of course that's also true of callens and johnson too.. so my speculation may be premature!

i hope the club can keep him, but there were other rumors about him going to a south american team somewhere in this thread (i think?).

Maybe I’ll miss him a little. What he accomplished here was no small feat. Today he takes with him a tiny piece of all our hearts. When it’s all said and done and they erect his statue at our new stadium you’ll be able to hear the executives say “we sure saved a ton on materials”. Ok, think I got it all out of my system before he shrinks into our memories.
