I posted the original (fake) tweet and am still amazed that someone would create a fake account for Tom Bogert? Really?

Do you ever simply marvel at how big a number 8 billion is? The human brain can't conceptualize that number. It's too big to understand as a concept. Until you think of it in terms of how every one of those 8 billion people needs a hobby. And for there to be 8 billion hobbies in the world, one of them has to be making a fake Twitter account for Tom Bogert.

He is young. 17 yr old right back.. If true, i see this as a next pro signing?

Probably a guy who becomes depth for the first teamn -- maybe plays in MLSNP occasionally, but is a player we try to develop. I think like Scally, except hopefully more minutes than Scally.

No cap for MLS NEXT I thought? Why not spend $500k on 10 guys? One guy hits and it’s worth it.

Looks like Matias Pellegrini is coming back for 2023.

I like it -- he never really got a chance here when he signed so late; I'd like to see him get an actual chance to show us what he's got. I assume this is going to be a pretty cheap deal.

guess that thank you tweet was premature then. guess they just hadn't planned out the new contract negotiations yet...

I thought from the beginning we got a really good player for a song. Nick just didn't have a place to put him in the current squad. But with all the changes, I wager he's going to get a lot of minutes. Maybe even a set place in the XI, depending on how things shake out between now and the close of the January window.

Acevedo officially loaned out ...

I predict are going to miss him more than most people realize.
