And because you asked so nicely...
- Somebody give me Héber abusing LGP and Guzan on a loop.
Watching Guzman last night was like watching Guzman every time he’s ever played for the MNT. He’s a horrible keeper that has been extremely fortunate to have landed at Atlanta where Tata Martino’s Teams always covered for him with their relentless attack. This Atlanta team is nowhere near as talented overall and their backline is lacking without Parkhurst’s leadership.I honestly felt bad for Guzan when Hebér just ruined him 1v1 for that fourth goal. The look on his face as he's awkwardly trying to guess how he's going to get rounded was just... sad.

love all the comments about him saying we weren't going anywhere this year. kinda wish he had owned up to it in his article, but whatever.
The best part of this LGP/Heber/Guzan exchange is the way you see Guzan scramble forward like "OH SHIT WHAT LGP YOU DIDN'T GET THERE? WTF?!?"
He did that about 2-3 weeks ago.love all the comments about him saying we weren't going anywhere this year. kinda wish he had owned up to it in his article, but whatever.
Anyone know where Ofori was? Rocha was solid, but I was surprised Ofori wasn't even in the 18. It will be interesting to see who plays in Ring's spot on Sunday. Wonder if Parks might be ready.
in street clothes, i think it was him in a hat, he was with the team in the end talking to supporters.
hope he's not injured! we'll need all hands on deck going into the playoffs.
in the highlights, they have a great view of itAnyone have video of the moralez penalty? He missed the entire net? He HAS to give up penalty duties.
Still waiting for a full replay. I’ll watch the highlights thoin the highlights, they have a great view of it
What did you expect the Ring Leader to say after expertly orchestrating the great winning show over ATL? I loved that he basically claimed the CUP as ours. It really is ours to lose at this point. If we are in top form, I don't think there's anyone who can beat us.
Need to get a point in NE. hopefully the bench steps up once again and make it happen.
I was among the many who left, though I wish I could have stayed. I thought it was the best NYCFC night at Yankee Stadium maybe ever. I'm not even sure what competes. We won 1 playoff round ever, at home last year, and it felt disappointing that we even had to play that round because of how the season ended. The 11 against 9 derby tie last year was great, but in the end just a draw at home when we needed a win. The Historic Home Opener was up there, but Game 2 of a season -- even a first ever home game -- can't compete with a potential clinch. I had nervous energy as soon as I left my office last night and it never dropped.yea quoting myself.. but was just watching Ring's speech again and just had the thought it would have been great if he had said "did you enjoy the show? WERE YOU NOT ... ENTERTAINED?!?!"
btw - i know it was a weeknight game and people had to get home but I wish more people had stuck around to witness the speeches and ceremonies. not a knock on anybody. just think it would have been really special to have ring and dome address the packed stadium rather than basically the supporter's section.
Ibby was a revelation last night. No, he isn't ever going to replace Tinnerholm, but if you are going to play a defensively minded right back, better to have Ibby than Miller - much better.
this is a better highlight reel of mitri's hat trick than what MLS provides in the official highlights. yes i know they're both from MLS. it gives a better look at the ball movement leading up to mitri's goals, which are cut out of the official highlights for some stupid reason.
