Away - 04/11 Philadelphia

Hopefully Nemec back in the lineup helps win balls for Mix to be facing forward while receiving the ball. Team felt a little too anxious to play the ball back vs. SKC, but should have fresh legs and a full squad to finally get everyone moving forward for a full 90.

I'd love to see Poku get some quality minutes. And despite Philly not having a win yet, they have been very close 3 times so far. They got cheated out of one v. RSL, should have put one in v. Col to get the 3, and just completely broke down late against SKC. Boys in blue better come correct if they want those 3 pts.

Love it when they have rules you know they won't enforce.

Prohibited items at PPL Park:

- video capable cell phones
- Abusive, foul or disruptive language
- projectile like object

Thanks for posting this.

What do you know, they specifically prohibit wearing away colors in the River End.

I also thought it was interesting to note for those sitting in the Away Supporters section, we'll be escorted in at 3pm:

Visiting supporters will be escorted through the River Gate (Southeast corner of PPL Park) and will go up the concourse staircase to the top of section 132 and walk down into their seats.

Visiting supporters will be held back 15-20 minutes, and will be escorted out of the building directly onto their buses.

So I bought my ticket through the third rail but I'm not riding the bus. It says you can also pick up tickets in the parking lot before 3 pm. Does anyone know who I should be asking for? I don't want to have to ask 200+ people if they have my ticket.

Game will be played away @ Philadelphia Union. Hopefully we can get a decent road crowd for this one.

Kickoff at 4:00
Hear it on 970 AM
Watch live YES

Hey I want to get this information out to as many people as possible so hopefully you can help. The game kicks off at 4 but YES will run it on a tape delay at 5 so plan accordingly.

You can definitely find a stream at 4 thought. So keep this in mind when checking Twitter if you want to avoid spoilers.

Aside from Facey, it looks like all the walking wounded are a go.

Villa, Velasquez and Josh Williams, who also missed the SKC match with viral pericarditis, all trained fully on Wednesday. However, defender Shay Facey, who served a one-game suspension two weeks ago, worked with the fitness trainer after suffering a groin strain in a friendly against Clarkstown Eagles SC last week.

Kreis said it is too soon to access Facey’s availability for Saturday’s tilt against the Philadelphia Union (4 pm ET; MLS LIVE).

“I think we’ll know a lot more on Friday,” he said.

Anyone know if there are still tickets available in the NYCFC section for this one? Might be able to go after all now but fear I may have missed the boat...

Put all devices on airplane mode and watch it on YES. It's gotta be strange for broadcasters to do a game live, only for it to go to air a hour later.

Doing the same. Cutting off all communication to the outside world until the game is over.

I posted a separate thread on this in the Supporters section, but will copy here as well:

I thought this deserved its own thread in case folks weren't scrolling the dedicated match day thread.

(1) Even though the game starts at 4pm, it is being broadcast on YES at APPROXIMATELY 5pm.

(2) There are live options (stream, Fox app, MLSlive, etc.), but if you plan to watch it on YES, avoid social media and other spoiler sites.

(3) The game broadcast only is APPROXIMATE. It should be close to 5pm, but keep that in mind if you plan to record the game, you may want to record more time in case it does not start at 5pm. It's not clear, but it seems possible that it could even start earlier (correct me if there has been further information on this latter point).

(4) IMPORTANT - If watching on YES, momentarily turn away when they intermittently scroll the other games/scores across the screen. I'm not saying this will happen, but I (and many) have experienced sports networks both national and local not blocking and therefore spoiling a live score on a tape delayed or rebroadcasted sporting event. I personally have had events spoiled on several occassions. Let's hope YES doesn't drop the ball on this, but it happens.
