I think the title race is done and dusted. I hate saying that - especially after what happened last year - but Leverkusen is up 16 points with 6 games to play. The only question is whether Leverkusen can finish the year unbeaten.

The more interesting race is between Leipzig and Dortmund for 4th and the Champions League spot. They are tied on points, and they play each other in the middle of the run in.

That's a good one. My guys are looking to leapfrog Bayern into second, also worth keeping an eye on. After what we went through over the last couple seasons, it's damn near a miracle.

We have plenty of drama, too. Check this out:

It's done. Leverkusen are champs! Unbelievable stuff.
Regardless of if they finish the season unbeaten, they somehow managed to get to the bundesliga title unbeaten _across all competitions_ to this point. That's INSANE!

Still a chance for them to win an unbeaten treble. Has that ever happened before?

Also, poor Harry Kane. Spends 11 years at historic runners-up Tottenham. Transfers to Bayern who won their league eleven years in a row, and despite him leading the league in goals by a tidy margin, they fail to win the league.

Absolute scenes in Leverkusen. Totally understandable, too. They've come so far since Xabi took over. And here's a wild stat: Die Werkself has scored 24 goals after 80' this season. It's been one hell of a dramatic run.

(Vfb is battling Bayern for second so we may have to spoil the invincibles party on April 27. Sorry. 🤷‍♂️)

weirdly mirrors New Englands' run in MLS a few years ago where every win was like by one goal near the end of the game.

Leverkusen did it again. And against a Dortmund side who came to play. This team is nothing short of remarkable.

Totally off the hook today. What. A. Match.

By the way, Serhou Guirassy has been nothing if not clinical this year, but he missed at least one sure goal today, and arguably should have hit at least one more. He had a third opportunity which was a lot tougher and made a good effort on it, but it sailed over the crossbar.

It happens. 🤷‍♂️

Holy crap, Neverlusen. They just shattered Bochum. Unbeaten through 50 straight matches in all competitions, unbeaten through an entire Bundesliga season with just 12 dropped points. One more to go and they're legends. Just remarkable.
It really is insane what they've done this year. Obviously some luck with a slew of last minute equalizers/winners but just seeing this journey the last few months has been awesome to see. Kudos to Xabi and Neverkusen for really going all out to eliminate that nickname once and for all, especially if these next few games go their way both in BuLi and the Pokal/Europa.

VfB Stuttgart 4-0 Borussia Mönchengladbach in full time.

TSG Hoffenheim 4-2 Bayern München in full time (TSG came back from 2-1 down at the half).

After two years of dancing with relegation, VfB leapfrog Bayern to take second in the Bundesliga. Only an extraordinary Invincible campaign from the amazing Neverlusen keeps us from challenging for the title.

I'm taking it as an omen. Let's GO. New York is Blue.

What a season! Stuttgart finishing second, who would have seen THAT coming?
Also Mainz with the comeback of a lifetime to get out of the relegation zone!

Saint Pauli finished the job to not only win promotion but do so as second bundesliga Champions. Look forward to hopefully be able to see them play a feel times next season . Following the German lower divisions is not easy .

It's such great soccer, too. Der Zweite Bundesliga is a blast. Some say it's the most entertaining football league on the Continent.
