dang. all because they won't win the league for the umphteenth time. brutal.
Harsh sacking, man. But I think they've had their sights set on Tuchel for a long time and thought they should get him while they could.

Sucks for Nagelsmann though. One point off the top of the table, massive +GD, only three league losses. They could easily put a run on and leapfrog Dortmund. It's not like he flopped.

Hamburg just-about cemented their place as #3 in the BL2. They tied Paderborn, leaving Heidenheim a chance tmrw to go 6 clear with 3 to go. Meanwhile Darmstadt will promote with a win. This also opens for St Pauli or Dusseldorf to win and put themselves 4 behind hamburg.

Hamburg end the season with 3 teams in the bottom half of the table, so could very well end on 66.

Now let's see what happens in BL itself, the relegation battle is super tight from 17 to 13!

No matter what Dortmund does today the top 2 teams in the Bundesliga will be separated by fewer than 3 points on the final weekend. When's the last time that happened?
18/19 season! That was the season dortmund was on top for a lot of the season before bayernhad an absolutely roaring second half while dortmund floundered...
This is the only thing i can find showing the standings

Really poor game management by Dortmund. Left key players on the bench and had an inexperienced guy take a key penalty.

Reyna looked so good when he finally came on. Consistently dangerous, and he assisted on both goals (although the second one was more lucky than good; the first one, however, was terrific).
