Copa America - Chile 2015

Ecuador won against Mexico and eliminated them from the Copa. Although I have a love - hate relationship with Mexico due to the football rivalry, the Mex. team always puts a its soul into each game. I think of them as "The Germans from South of the Border" They play to the end trying to to win every game, and they never give up even when they are behind till the ref. blows whistle.
Chao "Piojo "Miguel Herrera, I always enjoyed watching your passionate antics in support of your team and country.
Ole , Ole, Ole Ecuador,

Mexico has qualified to fifteen World Cups and has qualified consecutively since 1994, making it one of six countries to do so. The Mexican national team, along with Brazil and Germany, are the only nations to make it out of the group stage over the last six World Cups. Mexico played France in the very first match of the first World Cup on 13 July 1930. Mexico's best progression in World Cups has been reaching the quarter-finals in both the1970 and 1986 World Cups, both of which were staged on Mexican soil.

Mexico is historically the most successful national team in the CONCACAF region, having won nine CONCACAF championships, including six CONCACAF Gold Cups, one North American Nations Cup and three NAFC Championships. Mexico is the only team from CONCACAF to have won an official FIFA competition, winning the 1999 FIFA Confederations Cup. Although Mexico is under the jurisdiction of CONCACAF, the national team has been regularly invited to compete in the Copa América since 1993, finishing runners-up twice – in 1993 and 2001 – and obtaining the third-place medal on three occasions.

Still though, Dos a Cero

Cavani got his second yellow after this.

Nice camera work. And brutal game for the official and for Uruguay. Of course you won't hear any Italians crying for the poor Uruguayan who got molested by an opposing player.

Awful. I don't fault Cavani for reacting the way he did. Cavani should had waited until the game was over to punch him . I don't advocate for un-sportamanship behavior but this dud deserves a punch. this is the equivalent of a man putting his hand under a woman's skirt. I would had been screaming , smacking him, whacking him with my purse, cursing him with all my New Yorker reportoire. Calling for the cops...lol

Not to pick a fight, but your first paragraph seems to ignore 2013.
