My guess is they are less concerned with randomly yelled profanities, even if repeated, than with the chanted or sung profanities. It's become audible on TV during MLS matches and I suspect the league is cracking down because I have seen some references to the audible cursing on TV (not specifically at YS but at MLS generally).
Lmao you sound like an ultra liberal. Willing to give up all your rights so that the government will protect you. That's very sad. While I feel bad for those that had a bad experience and feel their rights were stepped on, I lean towards the side of YS on this. I personally prefer a more family-like atmosphere. Chants can be fun without vulgarity and show greater respect for fellow fans that may have different standards/backgrounds. (Prudish. I know, but it works for me.)
My concern is for growing the league and I feel an obligation as an existing fan to make the environment as comfortable as possible for new fans...even if that means giving up certain 'rights' for myself.
I fully understand other views and just sharing an alternate view. Twenty years ago, I may have had a different perspective.
The inalienable right to live up to all generalizations about New Yorkers.Lmao you sound like an ultra liberal. Willing to give up all your rights so that the government will protect you. That's very sad.
Sir, this is a family-friendly forum and we cannot allow language of this type to pollute our...Oh, fuck it, I can't type that and keep a straight face. Carry on.Why piss on how I like to enjoy a match?
You sound like an ultra-idiot, willing to destroy the club with childish hooligan wannabe chants. Hopefully they make another green street hooligans movie for you and scouse to go watch, but keep it in the theater.Lmao you sound like an ultra liberal. Could be Pattyboybx....or, could be the type of person that had parents that taught the Golden Rule, thought selfishness was wrong and led by example in putting others first.
Hmmm. We should all just give up our tickets to the less fortunate..... Wouldn't want to be considered selfish. You're missing the point. If you give into the excessive rules that ys set up then what the hell is left? This is what football has always been. Why isn't the game as big in the us as in the rest of the world ? Because it's fucking boring. The fans are what make the experience worthwhile. I love the game and I want to express the passion I have outward. Of course in a peaceful manner but definitely not in a quiet one. Ys stopped us from bringing in a fat head. They won't allow anything. The rules are over the top. If you want a calmer setting then go for that section. Where ever it is.
Yea. I'm willing to the Destroy the club. Tell that to the thousands in the sg sections that all have the same argument as I do.You sound like an ultra-idiot, willing to destroy the club with childish hooligan wannabe chants. *I am about as far from liberal as you can get, but I can understand reality.
We need a rowdier enviornment, not family. If anything, less families and more centinials
Actually. Both groups met up at ys and discussed the matter. We shook hand and even hugged it out. So if there's anything else you would like to know just ask. But please don't state opinion as fact. You had a bit of an issue between supporters groups a few matches ago ,instead of keeping it in house and sorting it your selves people couldn't to run to the club and make it a massive issue on Facebook etc.
The club step in and try to eradicate it and probably the same people are moaning .
Think on this one your reaping what you've sown
