No we won't. We'll have 3 CMs, plus cover from Milner. That is fairly thin. 4 natural CMs is a must in a squad like MCFC/

I want Frank to play for MCFC and i have no allegiance to them, I just think that he is too old and not that good and we can do a lot better
In a heartbeat, Lampard was an awful signing, he will be 39 in 2016, this is a possible way out and nacho is awesome

I will continue to post on here because as I have said I have been reading with interest about NYCFC for over a year.
They can't ply in the centre of midfield, in a midfield 2 (the system we play). Sneijder could.

I have tried to be respectful but I have a problem with a team taking another teams player, even more so when it is a marquee for him to come of the bench for a team in a league and team I don't care about.
I agree with this except for disparaging his play. The only downside is the fact that it sets a poor precedent that CFG rather than the individual clubs control their respective rosters.
That puts NYCFC in a bad spot now. But 10 or 20 or 30 years from now, it could do the same to MCFC. Given what I enjoy about supporting a team, I find it abhorrent that either teams' supporters would ever be put in a situation where they felt the owner was acting in a way that was detrimental to the club in question in order to boost which ever club was the favorite at the time.
I wish ownership would own and write checks, and the club FOs had the authority and independence to reach the decision themselves. If it were somehow made readily apparent that, in this instance, NYC's front office made the decision indepently with only NYC's interests in mind, then I could live with it no matter what that decision was.
As fan it would be a good idea to not come to "sister" team forums expecting support for the idea that you can hold on to the one of the marquee players till the start of there first year.
