Great News For Mls And Nycfc : Possible Attendance To The Copa Libertadores

What I'm saying is CCL isn't working now for MLS and MLS isn't working for CCL. So why would we go further down the rabbit hole, where the teams are even harder and the travel 5 times longer?

That doesn't seem logical.

You might be right, Magnus.

I mean CCL gains zero traction in America because most Americans don't know and don't care who Pachuca or Cruz Azul are.

Those that follow European soccer, most of the market, disregard Mexican clubs as crap in the grand scheme of things.

Thus, CCL doesn't move the needle and frankly, I don't believe Boca Juniors or Santos are going to change that all that much.

Though, the added competitiveness it creates would be welcome. MLS clubs go pretty hard usually in CCL.

Sorry, but for me, I see the CCL as the greatest trouphy for MLS clubs.

A combined CCL and Copa Lib. would be incredible with great clubs and great supporters. The travel problem seems unsurmountable so I dont see it happening. Boca Juniors, Flamengo, etc are amazing clubs that I would be extremely excited to face.
