Man City Discussion

Will always be a mixture of the 13th May 2012 goal and the four at Spurs for me. His last goal in the Spurs game was one of the sweetest strikes of a ball I've ever seen.

Yes, the perfect hatrick was scored which is the envy of every centre forward, they all dream of that, followed by a superb 4th. Without his goal, there would be no aguerrrrrrroooooooo....
I loved. This guy. Pisses me off how they slate him at the match, and on blue moon. I will miss the big man

Well, Edin Dzeko has passed his medical so only a matter of time now.
Favourite memory was when we scored the 6th against utd. He ran to the away fans, looked at his fingers and showed us the score. Magical.
Thanks for the memories Edin- haha, check the empty seats!

Im kinda shocked that you guys would sell him. Who do you think will be his replacement?

Iheanacho has been promoted to the first team. We're going to be using three strikers this season, with Aguero, Bony and Iheanacho, plus a probable change to a 4-3-3 formation with Silva and Sterling the usual guys playing the out-wide attacking positions meaning less demand for out-and-out strikers.

Gutted we have sold him tbh, but we could not guarantee him first team, he is better than a bench player. Should be getting more than 14 m for him though

I'm gutted too, but I've seen it coming since 2013. He just never quite seemed to ever be able to establish himself and keep scoring. Yeah, he scored a lot of important goals, and he had some good runs of form, and some times he really cemented his place, but he never had all three at once and he often didn't even have two of the three. Perhaps he suffered from Aguero taking the spotlight, but he always seemed like he was one step away from truly establishing himself as a first-name-on-the-teamsheet type of player.

Yes, agreed. I wish him well at Roma. Sergio is THE main man and he couldn't break that.
Thanks for the memories Edin........
Truly blessed to see players of this quality at city after the dross that we have had in the past.tevez, Dzeko, aguerrrrrrroooooooo. I have to pinch myself sometimes

Hasn't gone any where yet.
If we are not careful the sulking bugger will be walking round with his hands in his pockets next year blanking the fans.

None of the other "big teams" had super impressive opening days. Really hoping for a big performance tomorrow get me a wee bit over how depressing tonight's derby was for NYC and how frigging sick I am.

Bold prediction: Yaya Toure wins the golden boot
Yup, that *is* a bold prediction!

Entertaining match if just a little boring. You could just smell the quality wafting off the team during that game. Or at least I think that's what that smell was.

Courtious out for Chelsea due to his red card versus Swansea. Two questions for this game: Will we have another Yaya Party at the Etihad? Who will Jose Mourinho blame if Chelsea loses?

I'm blaming all you city haters on here for making a giant 40ft deep sink hole appear on the main road into the ground !!
Getting your own back for bloody frank !!!

As believable as this theory is I don't think any of the haters are capable of creating a sink hole. I don't think we have too many scientists on this forum. Lol

Not a Man City fan (Liverpool..... so sue me!!) but a strong Man City can only be beneficial to NYCFC which is all I care about!!!!

With the start that City is having, if they win the Premier League will Pellegrini still be sacked in favor of Pep? What if City goes deep into the Champions League?
