If you think Lampard was "stolen" when infact he has been loaned of which you as a fan have no say then I'd forget supporting a football club because on average they'll be 4 or 5 loans between clubs per season. Right now MCFC has around 15 players loaned out to clubs. That's how football works.
I am pretty sure that MLS rules allow a DP to be signed at any time, not just in the MLS transfer windows and that Lamps can become an NYCFC player for the first time when the MCFC season is over. Hopefully that wont happen and we use our remaining 2 DP slots for other players in the January transfer window.
He wasn't loaned though. We never owned him. We need to own him before we can loan him. I see how you could be confused since Manchester City purposely set it up to deceive people....
You would be wrong. Since Lampard is clearly a MC player, he will be handled as a international transfer, IF he comes to NYC. So when he is done in May, IF he is still coming, he will have to wait until the MLS transfer window opens in July.
I think CFG and NYCFC need to pull a wild card out to fix this huge issue.

Guess my Lampard tee shirt is a collector's item. Either way, it's the one shirt I have for them and plan to wear it at games at this time. I'm still pumped about March, whoever is in the rotation or not.

MCFC don't own him either. If you say NYCFC don't own him then it must be CFG who own him. MCFC haven't done any deceiving here. Not that I view any of this as deceiving anyway just a loan agreement that has been extended. Common place really.

That isn't what happened at all. This also isn't a common place incident either, in fact, as long as I've watched soccer I've never seen anything like this happen before. It's bizarre actually.
MC might not be out to get NYCFC but they certainly don't give a crap about them either. The problem here, essentially is that those running Football for CFG and those running Football for MC are one in the same. Their both corporate stiffs. Nycfc is like the branch office in Scranton of Dunder Mifflin. And they are being treated as such.

Our coach used to be able to speak on the matter, he can't be found anywhere. They won't let him speak anymore because he made it clear: NYCFC wanted Lampard here for day 1 of training camp.
This mess is in every website and newspaper in NY. Its not like he didn't hear people are pissed off. If it wasn't a dirty thing, he'd have come out and said it was a mutual decision, but his silence says otherwise. Reyna's canned statement says otherwise.
All your MCFC buddies that used to post here and say "There's no way MCFC is dumb enough to screw you guys by taking Lampard away for any of your season! He'll be back by February, just wait and see.." Yeah, they all vanished, too.
I realize burying your head in the sand when bad news hits your club is a common thing for Euros so I understand why you're so desperate to do that but if you come here, we'll set you straight.
