If you disagree with another members opinion... All the time... Just ignore them. But we can't just start banning everyone that isn't 100% NYCFC.
CFG lied to you. CFG lied to us. We both got screwed.you realise both villa and Lampard are your players? you have merely loaned Frank to man c and Villa was a "guest stint" over here. To be honest you guys as a fanbase are coming across as a bunch of spoilt kids, Just using us as an example, we were told we would be able to keep our identity and our small history would be respected but cfg has gone to the lengths of even photoshopping our old logo of a fans hat because it was going onto the website. All they have done to you is not have plans for what they are doing with one of your players. The whole Villa debacle pisses us off because we sold thousands of memberships based on the fact he would be here for 10 games and they got 4. I personally wasn't a fan of him coming over anyways but it just annoyed me we built our membership drive around him
Wonder if it's better or worse to get screwed upside down?CFG lied to you. CFG lied to us. We both got screwed.
I got banned, permenantly, at Blue Moon after telling them we don't want Lampard and that they stole Lampard.
They're not too fond of things like truth and honesty over there.
I'm now reading something that is confusing
Either a) if he isn't free for the May window, he can't join until sometime in July or b) if he isn't free for the May window, he can't join us this season
He wasn't loaned though. We never owned him. We need to own him before we can loan him. I see how you could be confused since Manchester City purposely set it up to deceive people....If you think Lampard was "stolen" when infact he has been loaned of which you as a fan have no say then I'd forget supporting a football club because on average they'll be 4 or 5 loans between clubs per season. Right now MCFC has around 15 players loaned out to clubs. That's how football works.
You would be wrong. Since Lampard is clearly a MC player, he will be handled as a international transfer, IF he comes to NYC. So when he is done in May, IF he is still coming, he will have to wait until the MLS transfer window opens in July.I am pretty sure that MLS rules allow a DP to be signed at any time, not just in the MLS transfer windows and that Lamps can become an NYCFC player for the first time when the MCFC season is over. Hopefully that wont happen and we use our remaining 2 DP slots for other players in the January transfer window.
i actually brought that up in the TR meeting and was received well...and that was a few weeks BEFORE the announcementI've been pushing that myself. Definitely on board with this.
3-because of the Supporters Welcome he will receive.I wouldn't mind getting rid of 3 and 5.
Welcome back. Don't beat up on this guy, y'all. He's pretty reasonable.
I don't blame MC supporters. I am pissed at the ownership, and I am not much of a fan of Pellegrini's smugness in suggesting this move is somehow best for NYC. Also, I don't appreciate having my support of the club made to look like it's about a player. It's not. Some people are venting their frustration at how our club was treated at MC folks (and some of those people certainly seem to be intent on goading it into continuing). That's not what this should be made about. I want everyone to focus on how unethically CFG have behaved and how much they have insulted NY football supporters who wanted to play a role in building the NYC brand. To fight with MCFC supporters detracts from the important point that we have an ownership group willing to lie to us, MLS, our front office and a decorated and highly respected manager.
Look at Kreis's quotes from the late summer and early fall. He is not the sort of man who would speak that way unless he believed it to be true. Now, he's silent either because he has been ordered to be that way or he is censoring himself because it would be unbecoming for him to voice his real opinions.
If CFG cannot treat a man of integrity, one who left a top, established club for the challenge of building a new team, with enough respect to give him the truth and not publicly humiliate him, I don't know what we as supporters should expect. It seems that the kit launch was, as many feared, simply a sign of what was to come.
Based on CFG's actions, it would appear that their sole intention was to troll MLS and those who follow the league. If that wasn't their sole intention, then they are doing a piss poor job of proving otherwise.
CFG lied to you. CFG lied to us. We both got screwed.
Wonder if it's better or worse to get screwed upside down?
(Pathetic hemispheral humor)

MCFC don't own him either. If you say NYCFC don't own him then it must be CFG who own him. MCFC haven't done any deceiving here. Not that I view any of this as deceiving anyway just a loan agreement that has been extended. Common place really. He wasn't loaned though. We never owned him. We need to own him before we can loan him. I see how you could be confused since Manchester City purposely set it up to deceive people....
That isn't what happened at all. This also isn't a common place incident either, in fact, as long as I've watched soccer I've never seen anything like this happen before. It's bizarre actually.MCFC don't own him either. If you say NYCFC don't own him then it must be CFG who own him. MCFC haven't done any deceiving here. Ok then Nicholas please explain your take on this. And the extension of a loan is extremely common. That isn't what happened at all. This also isn't a common place incident either, in fact, as long as I've watched soccer I've never seen anything like this happen before. It's bizarre actually.
