Mcfc Confirms Lampard Staying In Manchester For The Season

And no where in the part you pasted says outside the transfer window:

The registration windows – the dates between which MLS may request the transfer certificate of a player under contract in another country – are as follows:

February 18 – May 12 (Primary Window)
July 8 – August 6 (Secondary Window)

My personal opinion is Lampard never comes. Either he extends at MC or retires.
I agree that he never plays for NYCFC, but the transfer window won't matter because he week be out of contract. So no transfer.

What makes it weird is that there is no transparency behind his contract. We don't know if he actually is under contract at a certain point in time and so on. So one day he could just... Show up and start playing. Or he might have to go through the process... Again.

Why do people keep saying that we don't have Lampard signed to a contract? Is there a source for these claims? As I understand it, we had signed him on a free transfer and subsequently loaned him out to MCFC, a loan which was then extended. I don't see any reason to believe this isn't exactly what happened.

The latest is that he was never signed to NYC, he was signed for one year to Wank City with a break clause to trigger on New Year's Eve. They removed that clause.

Except for the fact that MCFC themselves said his contract was with MCFC and not NYCFC and that it only needed 1 clause removal for Lampard to remain at MCFC.

MLS players union release the names and salary of every player under contract with MLS in the Fall, Lampard should have been on the list if he were signed with NY, he wasn't.

The web site Soccergods has an example of the letter CFG needs to put out and quickly

For those who can got to the site.

To: New York City FC Season Ticket Holders; the City of New York
Re: Frank Lampard to stay with Manchester City until June

In July 2014, City Football Group made a commitment to the City of New York and Major League Soccer. That commitment remains unchanged. CFG continues to be focused on bringing a world class product to the people of New York and contributing to the growth of Major League Soccer.
As you know, New York City FC exists as part of a larger family of clubs, one that’s committed to growing the game as well as City’s presence in it. Unfortunately, that relationship has forced us to make a small change in plans for NYCFC’s debut. We felt it was vital to reach out to our season ticket holders before that change became public to explain the group’s decision.
Premier League legend Frank Lampard has been central to our plans to field a competitive team in New York from our opening kickoff, but over the course of the last four months, Frank has also become a valuable part of our team in Manchester, were we hope to retain the Barclays Premier League title. Because of circumstances with our Premier League club, we have asked Frank to remain in Manchester throughout the remainder of the Premier League season. As of now, he will not join New York City FC until June.
Along with Frank, we make this choice with full knowledge of the disappointment it will cause. To be clear, it was always our intention to keep Frank’s stint with Manchester City short; however, as circumstances changed, we were forced to consider our commitment to our fans in England as well as those in New York. After discussing the situation with Frank, we are confident this is at the best course of action. We are also confident this open line of communication can give fans valuable insight into what has been a very difficult decision.
Our course of action does not end with this decision. We are conscious of our commitment to New York and know that Frank Lampard’s unveiling made a promise. Over the next few months, our staff will continue to work to find another Designated Player who will be with the team when we open the season in March. Only now, we will do so knowing that fans, future fans, and Major League Soccer deserve an indication of our commitment.
Internally, we know that commitment has never wavered. We also know that the tough decision to allow Frank another chance at a Premier League title sends a conflicted message. We hope you give us time to set things right and to show that NYCFC is the club New York City deserves.
Thank you for your support,
Ferran Soriano
Chief Executive Office
New York City FC
Claudio Reyna
Director of Football Operations
New York City FC
Jason Kreis

Aside form this I would add it is clear that the Fans of NYC will no longer welcome Frank Lampard and we will do everything in our power to replace him with a high caliber star that will help win this and every year.

He was NEVER a NYCFC player. He signed a short contract with Wank City which expired Dec 31. That was when he'd then sign a NYCFC contract. So CFG, MCFC and NYCFC lied to everyone and made it seem that he was already a NYCFC on loan to Wank City. How can you loan a player you don't have under contract? The press conference, Yankee stadium, going on yes, selling his merch, all that happened without Lampard being a NYCFC player.

That letter still wouldn't be enough because they promised this would be its own club.

No club makes a decision that benefits another club at their own expense simply because the other club wants one of their players. So they lied, we are not our own thing.

They also lied when they trotted out Lampard in an NYCFC uniform and wrote on their website, "NYCFC has signed Lampard. Buy your season tuckets now."

I got banned, permenantly, at Blue Moon after telling them we don't want Lampard and that they stole Lampard.

They're not too fond of things like truth and honesty over there.
And here I thought you couldn't get on there as they are not excepting new members. Your words. So are you not telling the truth now or then?

They weren't taking new members the one day I tried, they were the next. Why that is, I don't know, ask them.
