MLS - April 24 - Toronto (Home)

PRO Referees stated that the call on the field is that Morales was offside, and there was not enough evidence to overrule on video. This seems correct to me.

They also had an angle the opposite from the one above. It was from the same sideline and slightly to the goal side of Bradley and Morales. This one suggested he was offside, although the angle makes it impossible to know for sure.

They stated that the call on the field was offsides? It definitely wasn't clear that that was the original call.

Sorry - wasn't clear. The call on the field was that he was in an offside position. They didn't call that he had touched the ball.

So, when video showed that the ball had hit Morales and was not clear about whether he was offside, that was enough to overturn.
Ahhhh, I see.

I don't remember there being an offsides call on the field at all. They celebrated and went back for the restart and then the CR went to the VAR monitor.
Yeah, but as Gotham Gator Gotham Gator noted above, they ruled Alfredo was in an offsides position, but just didn't think he touched the ball. If that's the case, then they wouldn't have communicated the offsides position, at least in a manner that the fans or commentators would pick up on.
