I'm right there with you. Really looking forward to seeing them play together.I might be in the minority and think that Pirlo and Lampard will play well together.

You guys discredit yourselves by retweeting this kind of article. No new information, rehashing the same quote from the winter about this. Here's the full article: http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/pirlo-square-peg-new-york-city-fcs-round-hole
Seems Kreis & Reyna wanted to go with this Colombian striker instead but Ferran Soriano vetoed it in favor of Pirlo. He says it's asinine to say we don't need Pirlo but points out the lack of communication between NYC and Manchester
At least we know Kreis & Reyna wanted a younger DP. Nick Chavez said they had made him an offer so it's not like they were just sitting idly by while Soriano did everything. You guys discredit yourselves by retweeting this kind of article. It can put to rest the rumors that Manchester controls all.
To be fair, how many good players are ever available during the winter?I would just like to know who hand picked Mendoza and Nemec. Whoever was running the international FA effort last winter needs to step it up.
This really doesn't get discussed all that often, but MLS is unique in that the natural transfer window is totally counter to most leagues in the world. To be fair, how many good players are ever available during the winter?
NYCFC_Dan can we get one of those scripts for Kreis quotes like the one for NJRB. Any time we get a Kreis quote, it should automatically insert a facepalm meme of some sort.
Yaya said he'd be open to a move to NYCFC if asked.Maybe it's Yaya(credit to NYCFCWatch, I'm just not smart enough to know how to copy the tweet).

Given MCFC suffer with having him out for part of the season due to the African Cup of Nations this may not be such a long shot. (Wouldn't have that issue in MLS)
Here's the full article for those interested. The above quote is at the bottom and the only time he mentions NYC.

Movsisyan as core DP?
Just getting caught up on this thread. Uribe would have been a great signing for NYC, but Pirlo is a no brainer.
