It looks like David Villa is finally 100% fit. He was everywhere tonight. Even at one point putting in a great tackle on Giovinco in our own defensive third. It was the first time where it looked like the old Villa was playing. Hopefully he now has a monster of a second half of the season.

And I hope the rumors of Facey considering staying permanently are true. He's probably only a couple years from being an elite MLS defender. Hard to believe he's only 20.

Facey must stay. He's the harbinger of where we are headed. He's making a name for himself right here in the good ol' MLS.

We're not decades away from people begging for the Facey treatment. Why not? It's a great set of supporters, we've ridden the bad, we party no matter what. We'll be turning folks down well before we hit our MLS limit.

He's a good player for us. When he got here, he was a guy who had a few tools. Well done to him, well done to CFG for getting him here. If he leaves after this year, he's only hurting himself. He's 2 years away from earning a big money transfer (CB wise).

For now, we're outgunned and outmanned, yet we compete. It's a joy to watch as a supporter. Even the incompetent salt lakers try hard.

Fuck. I love this league, and I love this team. And I love the true heartbeat of it - guys like Mix and Poku and T Mac and Shay. Don't twist it. Those kids are way more important than Villa. They leave it all out there every time. Love them. They love us.
