There were many instances of Tinny all by himself in acres of space making a run, then stopping and waving his arms on the other side of the pitch and going unnoticed. And since the RB were also attacking mostly on that side, the heat map must have been crazy. Also, one defect we have even when we play well, but that gets more pronounced when we play like crap, is our players obsession with needlessly passing the ball to a surrounded Villa when there are much better options out there, other players completely open or making a run into space. It may sound like heresy, but I think Villa's absence may make his teammates better or at least more imaginative.
