I am kind of confused by this coaching staff they're putting together. It's starting to seem slapdash, like they're frantically appointing coaches because of how late the coach was hired, but why isn't Deila bringing along people he wants? Why is this coaching staff being chosen for him? I hope they all work well together because this is a strange coaching staff they're putting together.
Another advantage is that we are building a safety net for the future in case RD has a reason to leave and/or doesn't work out. The assistants won't be tethered to him. In fact, they likely are being groomed to help this team for the long term. Maybe CFG has learned something from the PV and DT departures.
