He is getting paid to play here.... "privilege"??? You make it sound like he is doing us a favor by showing up when in fact he MUST (if he ever signs a contact)
Every player is getting paid to play. This in no way negates the fact that we are privileged to be getting a world-class superstar, and one of the top players ever in the world's best league. And we're getting him while he's still near the top of his game. If you're not overjoyed about this as a fan of the team, then you're just foolishly spiting yourself.
Lampard's arrival will be like a brand new start to the season; in a sense, the team's history begins when he steps on the field. Everything before will have been just buildup -- as has been noted many times, the MLS playoff system means that early-season matches amount to nothing more than a glorified pre-season.
After the arrival of Lampard, NYCFC will be the biggest story in the league for as long as the team is still alive for a playoff spot.
Fuck off back to your mother's womb.
I don't give a shit if you don't like my comment.

We will support you as long as you give us your full effort and dedication.Hey Guys,
I have tickets right next to the players tunnel to the field (i.e the 3rd base dugout). The benefit of these seats are that the players/coaches/officials actually hear what you say and talk back on occasion. So, what should I say to Frank Lampard when he finally comes to NYC FC to play his first game? Need some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Anyone else concerned about his match fitness ? He's coming off a full BPL season jumping into the rest of an MLS season. Yes , he's an athlete and trains a lot but you just never know when your body is accustomed to a certain "schedule"
Honestly, 15% sounds high to me. Are you sure it was that high?A full season in which he's played about 15% of the possible total minutes.
