U.S. Open Cup 2018

So to win the Cup we have to win every match on the road.

Three regular season matches, plus 1 USOpen Cup, plus the potential of 1or2 MLS Cup matches is just way to many games against a single opponent in a single season. Forget about the rivalry & derby, it's overkill, boring, not necessary. MLS needs to figure out how to eliminate the 3rd match against the designated opponents, and the USOpen cup needs to abandon the geographical requirement, or if they keep it, fix it so that two teams don't play each other in the same "opening" round in back-to-back seasons - kinda like in the WC draw where there are groups that a team absolutely cannot go in to.

You aren’t excited for J-Lew’s first and last appearance of the year?

i think we say this because we have yet to get a win....cosmos two years and now red bull two years. so there has been "variety"

One more expansion team should eliminate the odd extra games in MLS.

Playing the red bulls is so boring

its a regional tournament... the likelyhood of getting the redbulls is always going to be very high

ETA: im also happy about it beacuse its another game i get to watch live the odds of me making it to a mid week game not at RBA would have been slim to none
