Ha! That was my take on things at least. I am certainly open to suggestions - not just for RJ, but also for the other new guys. I took a crack at some, but I am not overly happy with them.

It's hard to improve on Frasquito for Maxi.

That's not a guarantee. Since it's believed to be a loan it might not be a DP contract.

Not sure if there is an idiomatic meaning, hopefully some nativo espanol espeakadores can weigh in. Not exactly an intimidating nickname.

Mix rejoined them today. He was with the Director of team operations. Maybe doing a physical on his way out? He had a snap of the guy on the scale. If he's back to train they likely don't want him on the field right away. Probably has to weigh in and ease into it.

My mind jumped straight to "lightning in a bottle" when I translated it. Which made sense - big energy from a small container.
