Yeah, they are shopping Piatti, but he's a DP, so who is really going to give up extra allocation money just for a DP?

Maybe if they could defray costs... something like paying enough to keep the DP on their own books so that another team could use him. Doubt that's allowed.

They could just dump him for salary costs.

Or get a little return. If TMac is $200k in allocation money, Piatti is infinite.

So Marchisio after meeting with Juve, looks to be out. See that Chelsea has interest, but he wants to come to MLS and there is interest. An offer from Montreal was rejected. I wouldn't be surprised if he lands in Toronto if Gio gets moved.
