LAG is about to get hammered on relevancy once LAFC starts up, much like RB and us, and there’s no way MLS doesn’t bend over backwards to help AEG since they are the original flagship (now sinking) who’s owner propped up the league for so many years. The favoritism is nauseating, and we can only hope they continue to suck even with the addition of Zlat.
Yeah, I know he said that before, but still tough to say that is a definite, especially after they qualified. David Villa retired from international play and he got called up last year and is quoted as being hopeful to be on their WC roster.
He’s going to miss every game on turf. Or he should miss them if he wants to stay out of rehab. That right there knocks down his possible starts/minutes.
They've never made the playoffs. If they finish 4-6 in the East this year these moves were a success. The worry would be that these moves achieve mediocrity but make it harder to climb to the elite, but it's not clear their ownership is willing to spend what that would take anyway. If not, then this is as good a set of moves as one could hope for.
That incentive TAM is essentially “spoken” for since if stuff is achieved they have to pay out, thus ties their hands in the short term.
Not only that, but Kreis now doesn’t have the talisman scorer that could literally be marked by 6 people in the box, facing the other direction, with a ball played away from the goal mouth, and would still one touch it for a goal.
Kreis wishes it was 2010 just so he can start this guy...
