Question why doesn't NYCFC have a true USL team?
I think its because we dont really have a team for USL (unless you want the U19 team to be the USL team and lose all games like toronto fc II) and honestly not even sure where they will play.

As far as finding a field to play possibly St Johns or Fordham , have an under 19 team it would be a great to develop young talent that don't make the 18 on a regular basis. As far as winning games that is not that important , its about developing players.
i think USL implemented rules and stuff about what a suitable stadium is minimum 5K and concessions etc. I know a few USL teams struggled a bit for this season for these new rules. i think st johns is less than required amount
Belson stadium hold 2,200 so you can expand it to 5K , NYCFC would have to pay for the expansion ,I cant see adding 3,000 bleacher seats to be very expensive. We need a way to develop young players .

You know the other convenient thing that an in-house USL team brings..... an interim coach, brandishing the same philosophy, in a time of need.... wouldn’t that be nice right nowWith two teens on the first team not getting any time, and more to come, we better have one by 2020.
Basically the way Delph plays for City. I thought the term was "inverted full backs". Whatever it's called, I like it, as the full backs are less exposed when the ball turns over. And the overlap / underlap requires the two 8s to cover less distance. Much better in transition.Another more radical option would be to start playing with inverted wingers. Tinnerholm is more than capable, and Sweat seems suited. Something like this for lineup:
F: Berget, Villa, Tajouri-Shardi
AM: Maxi, Medina
DM: Ring
D: Sweat, Callens, Chanot, Tinnerholm
This would hinge on one of Sweat or Tinnerholm always stepping into the middle of the pitch to play as a defensive mid. The attacking mids would interact heavily with the wingers and play sideline to sideline to maintain width, as the fullbacks wouldn't be bombing up the lines.
Maybe it will be all of the above.
4-0 in Harrison.
Herrera out for the year.
Beat Atlanta.
PV leaves.
Announce a stadium.

Only thing with Belson is that it isn't ground level. It's actually above ground (above a parking lot), so not sure if that would make potential expansion more difficult or not.Belson stadium hold 2,200 so you can expand it to 5K , NYCFC would have to pay for the expansion ,I cant see adding 3,000 bleacher seats to be very expensive. The Cosmos has played a lot at MCU Park in Coney Island. Seats 7K and has concessions.
I believe 5k is the USSF D2 requirement. The D3 requirement is only 1k.i think USL implemented rules and stuff about what a suitable stadium is minimum 5K and concessions etc. I know a few USL teams struggled a bit for this season for these new rules. i think st johns is less than required amount

Shit. I was hoping he would be looking for a manager. It's not a Q&A, but...
I think alot of MLS 2 teams are going to drop next year.but USL is D2 though. I mean nycfc can try doing the USL D3 coming up next year
