Yes. He wouldn't be a DP. Let me theorize that they use Discretionary TAM to purchase his contract and give him a raise like Matarrita. He then becomes fully controllable.
I'm currently in the "off season" for work, which means scrolling twitter and reading The Fellowship of the Ring for 6-7 hours a day.
I currently am working crazy hours in overtime which is nice for the paycheck but not so nice for everything else so I'll just pass things along as I see them. I need RSS feed updates from his posts.
Also, any good audio book recommendations? I'm big on history, politics and business/finance.

Teams who press us allow us the option to play out to Sweat. Sweat has a decent touch but there is no link up play whatsoever on the left side of our midfield.
Does this guy or has this guy played in a system where he has had to link up? Overlap? Play out of the back?
I remember the days of RJ Allen and Tommy McNamara banging balls off each other's kneecaps down the right side of the field and I want to move further away from those days.

He's got lights-out stamina!
My instant gut reaction based on next to zero information is that they could try to move him to CDM. I could see him playing there and LB depending on matchup.
Yeah, but we have two left-backs and zero CDM in my opinion (Ofori is too regista-type and Dome is playing Ring as an 8).
I'd love to have a pacey, 6'1" high-motor tackling machine in our midfield 3.
I think Dome views Matarrita as a RW.
And please don't get Midas Mulligan started on Sweat.
The guy is playing Champions League soccer as a starting LB. Why fight that? Sweat provides cover as your 4th CB anyway.
Yeah he's said to be looking for a midfielder separately anyway.
One day we are gonna buy a left back and convert him to goalkeeper.
