lol - imagine the kid just wanted to be able to backpack through Europe easier and decided to get an EU passport
Can't stop laughing. I've been trying to get Polish citizenship for a while but their embassy is a pain in the ass. I wonder how Gio is doing.

People assume it's easy to get an EU passport with heritage, it's not. I have Irish and Italian ancestors. My grandfather was born in Italy and moved here when he was a child. He became a US citizen at some point. Because he became a US citizen, I won't be able to get an Italian passport. The Irish one is even more complex.

Even worse is trying to prove I have a grand parent with no records was stripped of her citizenship. Yay me!

Italy will consider you if you can provide all sorts of birth record and naturalization documents for, in this case my grandfather, the individual you are trying to get a passport under. It's a nightmare though

Lot to unwrap there.

- They're signing a guy from Benfica B. Does that mean they had every intention to move Harrison to their U-23s?
- Negotiations have ended
- Who really made the demands? NYCFC or MLS?

i want to think its nycfc...but who knows with MLS
