Key point. My guess is long range Tayvon is slated for center back, but he may be penciled in at right back for the moment. No matter what, we need at least one more right away.
Agreed. I think Tayvon is a good player, but I don't want him penciled in as a starter at fullback. He's not good enough going forward. Also agree that I think he'll be a better CB than FB.
If Callens re-signs and the back three stays intact Tayvon may end up starting at right back. And who knows, maybe his attacking skills will continue to improve. He certainly was much better late in the season than he was at the beginning.
But he's a natural defender. He belongs at CB. I don't think anyone thinks he'll ever be another Boom at RB.

Give him time. He's only 20 and he's still developing. There are facets of his game which haven't emerged yet, and he may already be our best one-v-one defender.
I definitely wouldn't put anything past him. He got thrown to the wolves when Boom went down in 2021 and handled himself about as well as anyone could have hoped. I'm sure there's a lot more to come.
they still have to announce roster movements. so i assume that will be the next announcement today.
They've already announced Tayvon today and they'll want to spread them out a little to have something new on the wires on a consistent basis. But maybe.
If they do have a big stadium announcement in the offing, they won't want to step on it too much though.

there are actually many questions marks. Tinnerholm already gone. but chanot johnson, maxi, callens all still up in the air. also santi loan situation needs to be figured out.
Maxi contract has a 2023 option, I'm curious if they'll do it or not

A little surprised about Pellegrini. Cushing must not have rated him or he didn't train well. Because he certainly never got a chance on the field to show what he can do here.
