Our brand seems to be bringing in someone from one of our sister clubs. So whose lighting it up in Montevideo or Brazil?
Excuse me, going to scour the rosters of Bahia, Red Bull Bragantino and Torque.

The Young Prince wasn't going anywhere. He's 'fraid o' nuthin' . Just lace 'em up and get after it.Defender Tayvon Gray Signs Contract Extension | New York City FC
New York, N.Y., November 15, 2022 – New York City Football Club today announced that defender Tayvon Gray has signed a new contract through 2025 with an option for 2026. The Bronx-native is the second Homegrown to sign a contract extension with the Club after James Sands. This season Graywww.nycfc.com
Best news we'll hear today!
Key point. My guess is long range Tayvon is slated for center back, but he may be penciled in at right back for the moment. No matter what, we need at least one more right away.I get the why. I just hope there’s another move associated at RB.
Agreed. I think Tayvon is a good player, but I don't want him penciled in as a starter at fullback. He's not good enough going forward. Also agree that I think he'll be a better CB than FB.I get the why. I just hope there’s another move associated at RB.
If Callens re-signs and the back three stays intact Tayvon may end up starting at right back. And who knows, maybe his attacking skills will continue to improve. He certainly was much better late in the season than he was at the beginning.Agreed. I think Tayvon is a good player, but I don't want him penciled in as a starter at fullback. Tayvon’s the poor man’s version of what ever the hell Alex Callens does as a third CBAgreed. I think Tayvon is a good player, but I don't want him penciled in as a starter at fullback. He's not good enough going forward. Also agree that I think he'll be a better CB than FB.
Give him time. He's only 20 and he's still developing. There are facets of his game which haven't emerged yet, and he may already be our best one-v-one defender.Tayvon’s the poor man’s version of what ever the hell Alex Callens does as a third CB
Okay, now they're messing with us a little: NYCFC to Participate in the Coachella Valley Invitational | New York City FC LOL
They've already announced Tayvon today and they'll want to spread them out a little to have something new on the wires on a consistent basis. But maybe.they still have to announce roster movements. so i assume that will be the next announcement today.
They're going to announce waiving callens the same day they announce the stadium just so that it doesn't hurt as much. Just you watchThey've already announced Tayvon today and they'll want to spread them out a little to have something new on the wires on a consistent basis. But maybe.
If they do have a big stadium announcement in the offing, they won't want to step on it too much though.
EDIT: Meaning roster announcements. NOTHING is going to step on a stadium announcement. LOL

God, I hope callens stays...
Maxi contract has a 2023 option, I'm curious if they'll do it or notthere are actually many questions marks. Tinnerholm already gone. but chanot johnson, maxi, callens all still up in the air. also santi loan situation needs to be figured out.
