2025 Schedule Thread

We are no longer taking a summer break to play Leagues Cup, according to Liga MX. Will now be contested on weekdays, sounds similar to how FA Cup games are handled. I love this, I've hated losing a month of home games in July/August the last two years. Should make scheduling be a bit easier for us, too.

With the scoreboard showing the dude fast asleep in the stands. I was so tired after that game I walked to the wrong parking lot, then couldn't figure out why I couldn't find my car. Let's just say there was no longer any traffic when I finally found my car in the wee hours of the morning in the south Bronx.

unfortunately, all matches still only played in US and canada. very lame.
Now that the league is done expanding for a while. I wonder if the league will create a way to determine future western opponents. It would be nice to be able to plan out road games before the schedule is release. In the NFL, you have a general idea of the oppenents and if its home or away for 14 out of the 17 games. I.e. The Giants played in Pittsburgh this year, it will be another 8 years before they are guaranteed to be playing in Pittsburgh again.
My preference for the 30 team schedule...Play each team once (alternate home and away each year) for 29 matches and then 5 core teams you play home and away each year (suppose ours would be NE, NJ, PHI, TOR, MTL).

holy cow this is actually shocking!!! Wish it was more sundays than wednesdays/thurs for all the workers here which makes it hard to get to, but I am grateful that I will be able to go to games this season.
The only one that is really annoying here is that Miami at home is on Rosh Hashanah. whooptydoo! Messi at Citi Field.

I see 5 midweek so over half non Saturday home gamesShwafta i count 4 Sunday and 4 midweek home games, so almost half!
a few scheduling quirks i noticed:
- We play all sat night away, except DC and Orlando which are wed nights. interesting?
- we visit LAFC, so it's basically a home game right?
- based on the fact we only play two matches in june, i assume leagues cup will be spread around those?
- CLT -> ORL -> SKC -> DAL is gonna be brutal especially in that timeframe, but i appreciate that they're all relatively close cross-country-wise.
