I know we are on here and I know this thread is going to get trolled, but i figure, what the hell?
Calling all City fans! I wanted to start a thread to discuss some of the things that have been happening in the CLOSE season and get your thoughts on them.
What do you think of Fernando ? Can you think of any songs to welcome him
Thoughts on the Zuculini signing... Is he a better prospect than Luke Shaw
Thoughts on the Zabba v Sagna fight for the RB slot, how will they rotate ?
Thoughts on Yaya possibly leaving?
Should we sell Rodwell, or merely loan him out for the season. I think Leeds would be a good arena for him to play.
We are limited to 50 mil Euro spending with about 35 mil left plus any sales revenue. Who do you think we should buy / sell.
Thoughts on the tie up with the local council to provide social housing for the area.
I do not think I missed anything else, but if I did, please share.
1. Whoa, he's magic you know, you'll never get past fernando. He's magic you know, you'll never get past fernando.
This is what we sing. It's pretty lame and doesn't really catch on unless he has a good game which is rare! So that answers about my thought of him as a player!
2.high hopes for him. Don't even know where he is these days. Lots of blues excited by him but as with all our youth, they just don't seem to get a chance anymore.
3. Zabaglione had the best season 2 seasons ago. We buy cover and pellegrini rotates him. Result= defence is shite. No settled back four, zabba in and out of the team. Poor season by his standards. He was always a full season player. He should be first choice every week. I rate Sagna, and his experience will be useful.
4.yaya is man city heartbeat. Everything we have done since the takeover on the pitch has been down to him. Yes I'm sick of the media shite about this and about that, but put him in the spotlight and he knows how to pull us out. He still has one, maybe two seasons in him.
As for the housing, great, move by the club. What they have done for that area is unbelievable. The land they built the CFA on was an old chemical works. They bulldozed it, and had to clean the land because it was contaminated. They did this and built the complex using local sourced workers and local sourced material wherever possible within a 30 mile radius. The houses are the next good thing
City will now always finish above the rags. They are now a two bit team who just wanna throw money around. They didn't like it when we tried to do it!
