NYCFCfan10 who do you think recalled Villa from Melbourne City? I find myself agreeing with Mlbcty. Also to think Man City fans have not undergone devastating times would be wrong. Heart then and city before the takeover were similar in levels of success. I think as a club Man City act normally very well. Just look a bayern who have bought all BD best players. Where are BD now? Lampard will be at NYCFC and perform well. When you are relegated twice in two seasons and have to go to York that's when to complain. Let's just wait and see how the team is in general. Looks like melbourne are on a bit of a run.

Not Jason Kreis?

I said, the suits above pulled Villa. Probably the suits at Manchester said, well, we'll take Lampard and you guys can take Villa back. They obviously don't give a shit who they piss off outside of Manchester. Hell, Kreis wanted Villa playing and staying in shape. What is Villa doing now? Laying around, doing some light workouts somewhere?

That's not good for NYCFC either.

CFG told NYCFC to call Villa back since Lampard was off scrubbing toilets at the Death Star. He was needed, being that he was our (only one in hindsight) marquee because we had no rights to Frank at the time unbeknownst to fans and press, to flaunt last year's Man City jersey at some shitty corporate "fan" jersey unveiling.

Dnigly I think you need to read some history. Germany was in reality beaten before you entered the war. Their codes were broken and resources limited. So you joined a winning team. Also who broke these German codes. Importantly the U.S. never declared war on anyone as both Japan and Germany did it first. Your declarations were moot. So really you were forced to enter the war. Historians argue whether the U.S. would have entered the war if Japan did not attack. Furthermore, everything you sent over was loaned. This loan was only relatively recently paid back. My granddad fought the Japanese and was part of the so called forgotten army. The only countries that took a risk and were not forced into the war by direct action were those of the British Empire. Treaties are just paper ask your own Native Americans. In fact most Polish don't like us as we took too long to help them. Some bars in Poland have signs on them saying no British. Interestingly The US has never won a war that did not involve the UK. Attacking small countries doesn't count. Even Canada kicked your ass when you tried to invade after US independence. You can thank the French for that victory. Why do you think New York has that lady in the harbour. Do not even get me on how you treated your vets after Vietnam. Get some knowledge and respect and get on topic.

Yeah ok, go read the telegrams from Stalin and Churchill literally BEGGING FDR for supplies and troops and telling him flat out they'll lose the war if America didn't get involved....Then come back here and tell me about that...

So you know for a fact NYCFC never recalled Villa? At the end of the day Lampard was not a NYCFC player. He will be at the end of the epl season. Not ideal and I feel betrayed also as this affair has really messed NYCFC in the context of CFG. Everyone speaks in half truths. As a kid I felt betrayed when I found out Darth Vader was Luke's dad. Once we start playing we will have more important stuff to worry about.

We needed resources that we paid for. After that Japan and Germany did us a favour. That left you no choice. To belittle anyones' role whether the free polish, Indians, Aussies, New Zealanders etc is out of order.

Dan who begged the UK to go to war in Vietnam? Who begged the French during the war of independence? You need to show some humility. Last post off topic.

I don't know anything for fact now but if you look at it, why the hell would NYCFC want their 34 year old, only star player now, sitting around not playing for 4 or 5 months? Its literally the total opposite of the whole reason we sent him to Melbourne to begin with!

CFG introduced Lampard as a NYCFC player, on their website it says NYCFC signed Lampard (not MCFC) , there are massibe billboards in NY with Lampard on it saying "buy your season tickets now!" but that was an outright lie orchestrated by the people of Manchester.

Guys... Chill and keep it on topic.
We don't want to start deleting/locking but at least try and argue without making it personal.

Relax! Stop with the negativity. Lampard is replaceable. There are PLENTY of European players NYC can get.
I don't think anyone would deny that he's irreplacable. The problem most of us feel is this has shown us that most of the last 6 months has been a lie.
So where do we go from here? How much is CFG actually willing to invest. So how deep does the lie go when our own club decieves it's fans (regardless of the player) to believe we signed someone and loaned him when we never had him. So, people aren't necessarily pissed about Frank. They're moreso pissed about the image/idea painted by NYCFC and it's not so clear what that is anymore.

Exactly, in light of the fact that we never owned him, what were they calling Reyna over to discuss then? It wasn't a discussion, it was a lecture, a monologue. It was a charade to make it look like NYCFC actually had a say in the matter.

MCFC are deceitful scum.

This is the jersey release shitshow all over again.

"We're mad at the principle and the precedent this sets" > "Well what did you expect? It was always gonna be sky blue."
becomes
"We're mad at the principle and the precedent this sets" > "Frank's replaceable anyway. Why are you so hung up on Frank Lampard?"

Look at it this way. When the rest of the league is pissed and not just reporters but team owners, former players and fans and they have no affiliation to NYCFC it's BAD. Take your affiliation with MCFC out of the picture. This whole fiasco is making not just NYCFC but the league look bad.

You are right NYC Dan, but it's not like we going to be the next chivas usa. I believe the owner/management will bring great players.
