By "pay to play", I think she was implying that anyone who pays can play. That's definitely not the case.

I was at the training fields on Friday. The fields are cleared and the fence around the area (the construction one) has been removed. Now there is only the permanent fence that encircles only the training area. There are goals and other training equipment on the field and when I was there it looked like a groundskeeper was working on the grass. No lines yet but I would not be surprised if the team begins training at Purchase this week.

I was not there today but I know what you're talking about. We should go down there together one day and figure out when they are on the field. Maybe catch a player or two and chat.

Saw a Reddit thread about MLS training facilities. I realized that I really don't know anything about the facilities at SUNY and wanted to see how far along they have come since March! Anyone have some updates?
