Overall, the team played well. I think the defense needs to work on positioning on counter attacks because there were a couple close calls, especially on that one goalie punt. Matarrita is going to be amazing this season for us. Can't wait to get this season started

Ok my ideal starting lineup for Chicago looks like this:
GK - Tall guy
Backline: Iraola, Brillant, Hernandez, Matarrita
Midfield: Mix, Pirlo, Poku
Forwards: Villa, Taylor, Shelton
Subs: Shelton, T-Mac, Norris White, Mullins, Lampard, Martinez, Saunders

What we learned:
- Eirik Johansen should be starting in goal because Josh Saunders cannot handle playing out of the back.

Don't see Hernandez making the starting lineup after hardly getting playing time this preseason.

Vieira has done something with Mix that we've been asking for all last year. He looked a completely different player.
After watching Saunders' "footwork" tonight I just don't see how you can start him over Johansen if you expect your GK to be able to play the ball out of the back competently with his feet.
Also glad to see Mix score that nice header at the end. He had a really good game and he deserved that goal.

He has played mix in the middle which we all were clamp ring for last year but Kreis stuck him on the wing where he was useless. Mix is pirlo light with better air skills
I think after seeing this match backline has to be:
Mata - bravo - brilliant - Iraola

I'm with you. Saunders should be the backup. I hope PV sees reason and puts our best players in the starting 11
