-Ghana and Portugal draw
-Portugal beats Ghana and makes up 4 or fewer goal differential
-Portugal beats Ghana and makes up 5 goal differential, and scores 1 or fewer goals more than USA does
-Portugal beats Ghana and makes up 5 goal differential, scores 2 goals more than USA does, and USA wins drawing of lots
-Ghana beats Portugal and makes up 2 goal differential and scores 1 or fewer goals more than USA does

It's amazing how Portugal went from "Team ranked No.4 in FIFA whom the USA will never get a point off of, and the US will be lucky to get any points in this group" to "Portugal are a bunch of scrubs and the USA should be embarrassed to have earned only a draw."
