I just t checked on the search feature- its going to be broadcasted on channel ONE on 309 at 7:30 PM for Verizon users.
FYI Saunders played in 2nd Div (USL now NASL) for several seasons with Timbers, Puerto Rico and Miami. Then he got called by the Bruce to help LA.

I know, but as I said a lot of that was developmental play on loan from MLS and transfermarkt still has him marked for playing more games in MLS than any other league.
Didn't Saunders win the NASL championship last season with San Antonio?

Just a heads up, the Cosmos run a free shuttle service from the Mineola LIRR station to the stadium at Hofstra. I live nearby so I don't need it but I wanted to make sure that people who might need the info got it.

I think you will see Villa for 90 minutes on Saturday night and a late cameo on Wednesday if we're not winning.
Don't know the official SGs plans. We're talking about the 6:08 out of Penn Station or the 5:51 (with transfer at Jamaica) to Mineola. Then either that cosmos van or cab. Drinks around Penn at 4-5. (Triple Crown maybe? We'll see).
I assume Third Rail putting on busses. This might be the best choice for many.
Also heard from a Cosmos source that the Cosmos "Barra Brava" group is vaguely threatening people traveling to the match. I know at least one of them from Metro, and he blah blah blahs a lot, so it's probably talk. Either way, folks traveling in colors shouldn't wander off between the train and the stadium.

Even if we're losing, I sincerely doubt we see Villa Wednesday.
Of course, I sincerely doubt we'll be losing without him anyway.
Hopefully the win today will boost attendance at this match. It's a Wednesday which sucks and it's on Long Island which sucks. But it's going to be a good effort on our end. I want a win.
Based on what I heard earlier in the week on Andres Emilio Soto's podcast, tickets for the away section are sold out and only available by re-sale
