The pigeon wings will go well with the new Third Rail scarf.
I wish that they had at least made the stripes alternate orange and light blue, similar to the way last year's Third Rail scarf did.

Footy Headlines is saying its the away jersey.
I think the colours are the problem . Colombia will be using the same template at the World Cup, but it looks far better.
Dark Blue with orange stripes would have been nicer.

This is just double laziness. Or maybe lazy squared. I don’t know. But you’re both giving us a template used by other clubs and nations. And also at the same time the same gray color scheme being used by half the MLS this season. And they prepare this 2 years in advance?!!

It looks too busy in the top third with nothing in the bottom 2/3. For some reason, it makes me think of those tracking vests players wear, but this design makes it look like the tracking vest is on top of the jersey instead of under it.

If that is in fact the away kit... granted, art is in the eye of the beholder... but IMO, that's one of the worst jerseys I've ever seen. But it goes deeper than not liking the aesthetics of the jersey.
I feel like for the most part, everyone's been fairly vocal in wanting more orange, more navy blue (you know, like actual NYC colors)... Instead, they put out this bland grey Adidas cookie cutter.... Guess they really just want everyone, team and fans, wearing sky blue all day every day to match the mothership. Very disappointed.

It's a nice shirt! But if everyone else feels the same way as you guys then presumably the next away shirt will be a design hand-drawn by David Villa, with a pencil forged from the lead of the original Empire State Building girders. No names or numbers on the back, just the words "HEY I'M WALKING HERE" in huge letters across every jersey. If the cashier doesn't tenderly whisper "New York is blue" into your ear at the point of sale then your purchase is free.

Not sure where this idea that every single Away jersey of every single club has to do with the city’s colors. That’s literally almost never the case. Why can’t they go off a little? Have some fun. Then next time go back to city colors. They don’t have the option for a third jersey so the Away kit is the best way to have fun. If we got navy blue/orange every time it would get boring. Sure it’s a “cookie cutter”. Have I missed something? Is every single jersey in the world unique?
Get over the sky blue and Man city connection. It’s been 4 years. How do you know the next home jersey won’t be a mix of dark blue orange and whatever else you want. It’s a one time jersey ffs. We aren’t wearing it forever. You don’t have to buy it. It’s a jersey.
