2018 Roster Discussion

Did some scouting based off stats in the champions league, to see how Tinnerholm fared vs. legit opponents.

2014, vs. Juve, Atletico, and Olympiacos.

Averaged around 85% passing, drew a foul or two each game, and had one assist through 6 games. Also a shot or two per game. Malmo only won 1 game, versus Olympiakos. Finished last in the group.
2015, vs. PSG, Real Madrid, and Shakhtar Donetsk.
Averaged 62% passing first three games, then gradually increased passes completed up to 75% and then back into the 80% range for the final two games. No assists nor goals, only a shot or two on target across the six games. Similar to 2014 in that he only had a foul or two committed and suffered per game. Malmö only won 1 game, versus Shakhtar. Finished last in the group.

Nothing to go against everyone saying he's an attacking minded outside back. Averaging 80% passing completion while being on a smaller team vs. much larger clubs in Europe is impressive, and he did start all 12 games. based on only giving up a foul or two per game, I'd say he either 1. doesn't go into challenges, or 2. is smart about going into challenges. No idea if the fouls on him are in his own half or setting up a decent opportunity for a set piece on the wing or outside the box.

Can't really draw too much from this, as it's a small Swedish team versus giants in some of the games. Also have no idea if he was getting back from injury in the beginning of 2015, or just sucked against PSG and RM early on. Used links from Malmö's wikipedia page which linked to UEFA.com game reports to get his stats in those Champions League games.
