They had the navy training shirt (sky blue striping) that had the NYP logo on it in the team store last year, I ended up getting it and it is one of my favorite shirts, even if it is a training one. May go the training shirt route too from here on out, depending on how the future kits look. The simplicity of the training shirt is nice in comparison to the chaos of some of the kits, I can understand why many people lean towards them instead of the actual kits.That was me.adam is right. I wear training jerseys. They're official and look good, but they're not an exact match for the game jerseys, though the light blue ones look very much like the game jerseys. They're not exact matches but the basic simple light blue look is there.
They have yet to produce a training jersey that comes close to any of the secondary kits. The closest was in 2015 there was a black training jersey that was somewhat like the away kit, but it was clean -- no angled black-on-black stripes -- and I think better looking. That's my favorite. They never made a training hypnokit, though there was a jersey with a blue a bit closer to the hypno blue than the usual baby blue and with orange trim. There's nothing even remotely evocative of the charcoal grey armpit wings jersey -- there's nothing with the wings and not even a plain grey version.
They also never have sold a training jersey with the hospital sponsor that I could find. I'm fine with that. I like the clean look, but I know some folks have looked for them and they've never been spotted.
They missed an opportunity here by doubling up the Group’s name on the sponsor text and the crest. Should have made the sponsor something like DaBronx BBQ or Borough Sauces

I just don’t get this design. Why not maintain the stripe and put Etihad or even just the D in white? The sponsor breaking the stripe makes it dominate the shirt

If this is real, and the club is now officially adopting the pigeon, be prepared for the next Alternate Kit to have used Hawk during the initial concept design phase. Get the matching Beanie cap while you’re shopping.

i dont know that pigeon looks edited in, i mean philly for example have had the same snake design in their logo and elsewhere. Id be more inclined to believe if it was the pigeon logos from the scarves last year.
either way its not the best nor the worst for me.

Is that a Chinese knockoff company that ran with the rumors? With the embroidered Adidas, it’d be the non-authentic variety, but that would never have the jocktag (pigeon)..... so China, right?
yes i agree....looks like shitty embroidering and the clima cool or something would be there instead of the pigeon. maybe not too far off though.
