2020 NYCFC Kit Thread

I don't hate it, it's just kind of boring and doesn't really scream New York City. Though I guess that complaint could be had about most of these.

meh, it just bad that they all have exact template, feels the worse than years before.

EDIT: Some of these designs ( in terms of the shoulders and front design) remind of the designs they were coming in circa 2007

No idea why they have the adidas claw stripes on one shoulder only, and why they had to be white instead of sky blue or a lighter shade of orange. Oh well

The Whitecaps kit actually looks decent combining the sky blue and navy, I wish we had that and the Whitecaps had the white striping.

Some of these are absolutely atrocious, so from that standpoint we are lucky since could've gotten a bigger shaft. Not great, not bad, overall eh jersey.

Actually I wish Vancouvers Jersey was ours.

I don't love it. But I don't hate it either. The gray kit is superior IMHO though. At least it isn't total shit like the red bulls one.

It's a fair question. I really liked our 2017-18 home jersey with the orange piping. I guess it's just a factor of this team has one primary color, so every secondary jersey is just going to be a random non-related color that never seems to fit.

as much as i love how pigeons are kinda our nickname, piegons aren't really a NYC exclusive thing by any means.

i think the empire state building, statue of liberty, etc are more NYC. would have been nice to see lady liberty incorporated somehow.

By itself, it’s not horrible, just a head scratcher to the random claw marks. But as a group dumped on the league, it’s like a bad rendition of the myriad of stormtroopers that have minor changes in their armor.
